Dr. Rodts' clinical interests in spine include degenerative conditions of the cervical and lumbar spine, thoracic spine disc herniations, syringomyelia, tumors of the spine and spinal cord, traumatic spine injuries, rheumatoid arthritic conditions of the spine, and revision spine surgery. He has held numerous leadership positions and is currently President of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS). Dr. Rodts was Honored Guest Lecturer at the 30th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Congress of Neurological Surgeons 2010 and Guest Lecturer at the European Association of Neurological Surgery in 2008 and is on the Editorial Boards of Neurosurgery, Journal of Spinal Disorders and Techniques, and The Japanese Spine Journal.
