The orthopaedics group of Emory Crawford Long Hospital provides a full range of services for the treatment and care of conditions affecting the skeletal system. These services include:

- The largest bone and soft-tissue cancer program in Georgia, drawing patients from the entire southeastern region.
- One of the few in Georgia to perform complex revision surgeries, in which damaged or infected replacement sites are fixed.
- One of the few in Georgia to perform micro-vascular bone reconstructions, which re-establish the blood supply within dying bones.
- One of the nation's leaders in minimally invasive spinal surgery. One of our doctors was the first in Georgia to perform both laparoscopic (abdominal region) and thoracoscopic (chest region) spinal fusion s procedure using small incisions that fuses spinal disks together to restore spinal stability.
