Not even counting those at risk, chronic kidney disease affects 26 million Americans. And if a patient’s kidneys fail, he or she must rely on dialysis or a transplant to survive.
Join the Emory Transplant Center in aiming to turn the tables on this disease by joining in on the 2012 National Kidney Foundation Atlanta Walk this May.
This walk unites patients, transplant recipients, organ donors, families, friends and businesses in calling attention to the prevention of kidney disease and the need for organ donation. Together, we can support the millions who suffer from chronic kidney disease, and increase awareness for those who are at risk.
Register with the Emory Transplant Center team by visiting their donation site http://donate.kidney.org/site/TR/Walk/GeorgiaandAlabama?fr_id=4313&pg=team&fr_id=4313&team_id=105971
and clicking “Join.”
