As the premier program in the Southeast, our team members coordinate the care of persons with bleeding disorders, connecting them with primary care providers, other medical subspecialists and dentists both at Emory University and in the community.

Besides hematology providers specializing in bleeding disorders, the multidisciplinary team of experts also includes an infectious disease specialist, gynecologist, nurse coordinators, physical therapists, research coordinators, genetic counselors, social workers and administrative support staff.

Through our close partnership with Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, we strive to provide our youngest patients with seamless, coordinated care as they transition from pediatric to adult care.

Partners with Hemophilia of Georgia

The Emory Bleeding Disorders Clinic is also proud to partner with Hemophilia of Georgia (HoG), a nationally recognized nonprofit organization and provider of programs and support services for people with hemophilia, von Willebrand Disease and other bleeding disorders. HoG is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of the bleeding disorders community by providing education and advocacy. HoG and its pharmacy provide medications used to treat bleeding disorders at home, as well as home infusion training and other patient assistance programs.
