Emory Flight is Emory Healthcare System's air medical transportation service that is owned and operated by Air Methods Corporation / LifeNet.  Any hospital or EMS agency can utilize Emory Flight to transfer critically ill patients to a medical facility that provides optimal care for their injuries or illness.

ImageEmory Flight operates three helicopters to effectively cover the majority of Georgia as well as parts of Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina. By serving the state with multiple strategically placed helicopters, we are improving the odds in the race against time during the "The Golden Hour". Emory Flight is the only air medical transport provider in the state of Georgia that is accredited by CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems).

The three bases are located in Griffin, Jefferson, and Cartersville Georgia. Because Emory Flight is not hospital based it has the ability to transfer patients to the destination that will best treat the patient's specific needs.

About Emory Flight
Emory Flight is an advanced life support air medical transport service designed to work with area Hospitals, EMS agencies, Fire services, and various other Public Safety Services. Our mission is to expedite the availability of advanced life support and definitive care by air support of the critically ill or injured patient to the appropriate facility based on patient needs. The flight service saves lives through the skills of professional flight crews working in conjunction with your EMS service or hospital when distance, location, or road conditions could delay transport or endanger a patient's condition. Emory Flight simply puts time on the patient's side. The flight service area of Emory Flight is a 150-mile radius of each base plus the capability to transport a patient an additional 150-miles to their destination.
