Emory’s chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery volunteers time each year in Central and South America to surgically repair cleft lips and cleft palate deformities in children from poor families who can’t afford care. Closer to home, Dr. Steven Roser leads a division that provides a full range of services for adults and children, including wisdom teeth extraction, dental implant reconstruction, and injuries to the face and mouth.
